Celeste returns to their hometown not expecting to see anyone, but when their former best friend and ride for the evening drags them to a party they are fated for a long night ahead. Taking cues from irreverent queer 1990s & 2000s aesthetics and teen comedy-dramas, Be Here Now meditates on loss, connection, and friendship through a DIY punk & femme lens.

No Pride in Genocide (2024)

Filmed on Super 8 at Dolores Park in San Francisco during the No Pride in Genocide show/gathering in June 2024. This film features live performances from Bay Area hardcore band Shuv, post-hardcore band Whine and a call-to-action performance from Big Freak. Sucker’s performance was not documented but the members are seen throughout.

The Veil is a meditation on death, an exploration of the way physical places hold multiverses of time. Four ominous guardians of the underworld do not believe you belong where you’re going. They are there to warn you that life is for the living. This experimental short film was shot on Super 8, hand processed at home, and scanned at Movette Film Transfer in San Francisco.
